A Lexington fence company that stands behind every post.
Chafin Fence LLC installs and repairs residential, commercial and farm fencing across Central Kentucky. Licensed, insured, BBB accredited, our own crews, and a 5-Year Craftsmanship Guarantee on everything we build.
Our Story
Built in Lexington, for the way Kentucky is built.
Chafin Fence started the way most good trade businesses do: with someone who cared how the work turned out. Nick Chafin and his crew build fences across the Bluegrass the same way whether it's a backyard privacy run in Lexington, a four-board line on a Woodford County horse farm, or a security perimeter for a business in Georgetown.
"A fence is the one part of the property everybody sees every day. It ought to be plumb, it ought to be tight, and it ought to still be that way in ten years."
That's why posts go below the frost line, why corners get braced before wire gets stretched, why gates hang on their own footing, and why the person who quotes your fence is the same person responsible for how it turns out. No subcontracted crews, no ballpark quotes, no "we'll see" on the warranty.

Three promises, kept on every job.
One firm price, in writing
Material grade, post depth, concrete, gate hardware, removal of the old fence, timeline: itemized on the quote before anything is scheduled. The number on the estimate is the number on the invoice.
Our own crews, same foreman
The person who walks your property is the person on site the day the posts go in and the day we walk it with you at the end. Nobody hands your fence off.
Built to the ground, not to a formula
Fayette clay, Jessamine limestone, Madison creek bottoms: post depth, bracing and drainage change with the ground. We build for the property in front of us and guarantee the result for five years.
What We Build
Every fence a Central Kentucky property could need.
